The Summit Christian School Board is comprised of six to twelve members who serve three year staggered terms. The Board meetings are on the 2nd Monday of the month and open to interested Summit Families. Phil Darke, his wife, Becca, and their five children, live in Folsom, CA. Phil received his Juris Doctor Degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law, and his B.A. Degree in Rhetoric and Communications from U.C. Davis. Phil is also the CEO of Providence World Ministries. Phil worked as an attorney with different firms in Sacramento, CA, and Atlanta, GA, and as a clerk for a federal judge in Honolulu, HI. Phil currently serves as an Elder at River Rock Church.
James Cosentino is a graduate from California State University, Sacramento (1986) with a Bachelor of Music degree in Performance (trumpet). A native of Fair Oaks, James was a civilian employee for 8 years with the U.S. Air Force (McClellan AFB) as a logistics management specialist in computer information systems. James is currently an information technology systems administrator at Folsom Lake College, having been with the Los Rios Community College District since 1996.
James has been married to Amy for 16 years and they have one daughter, Cassandra, who attends Summit. Amy currently teaches a 5th/6th combination class at Summit and has been a teacher at various grade levels in both public and private schools for almost 10 years. Amy grew up attending Carmichael Bible Church and introduced James to the church shortly after they met in 1990. In 1992, James repented and confessed Jesus as Lord and Savior. In 2005, the family moved to Fair Oaks where they currently attend Sunrise Community Church.
Like so many of the wonderful families at Summit, James took part in the formation of the school where he has been on the board since it was founded.
